I am sharing an original song I wrote called 48. I started this song last week, so this is 48 part two, and it's called Found My Fate. So I'm sharing the evolution of the songwriting process that occurred with the song 48, which is now a song, it's a love song from God to his people, Israel, that I wrote last year.
About maybe nine months ago and it went through several versions and I remember telling you how it started off as a late bloomer song, a song about me turning 48 and I thought, Oh, I need to have this song out by 48 because I can't sing it when I'm 49. But it didn't get out by that time. And so I just started to revisit the song and it just came to me and my spirit that this song is actually more than just about me turning 48, but it's actually about the nation of Israel being reborn again in 1948 receiving their land.
Starting afresh in the land of Israel. And so that's what the song is about now. And some beautiful words from the Lord that I included from a prophecy I heard by a sister in Christ as well as some of my own words. Of course, . And so I'm gonna play a little bit of the song. It's not complete, but it's there.
It's there. The shape of the song is there. Welcome to the show. Hello. Hello. Hello. Thank you for joining me. I'm going to play a little bit of the composition here and seeing a little bit of the song. And then we're going to talk a little bit about the words to see how this song can help us build relationships that last.
Okay. So here we go. The song 48.
You belong to me, belong to me, belong to me. You belong to me. 48
48, 40.
Look up. I see you in me. It's danger to me. Have no.
The coast is clear, you belong to me, belong to me, that's God talking, belong to me, you belong to me, for the air, oh, I'm going to stop it right there because it goes into like a bridge and it's like the melody changes. I haven't practiced that in a while. So as you can tell, the verse is very short. It just says let's see, I almost missed it.
I think, and you see, I'm a little off cue on the underscore because I haven't visited this song in quite some time. And let's see. The score says, okay, so look, look up, I see your enemy. It's dangerous close to me. And so the first part of the song talks about war. See the signs in the sun, moon, and stars.
It is written, now comes war. See the signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And so it continues. Look up, I see.
So that could be, planes, war vehicles helicopters, any, something coming after the people of Israel, the land, the nation of Israel and war. And then it goes on to say, it's dangerous close to me. And this line actually comes from something that the Lord told me. He told I was at a prayer meeting at a prayer mountain here in California up in the mountains.
We went to go pray and fast for the weekend and just to seek the Lord. And if you've never done that, I really encourage you just to, to go on a retreat and or some kind of a meeting where you're just alone with the Lord. With a group of people and you're just, all you're doing is focus on the Lord, not on any work or any other outside activities, but we're really just there to read the Bible, to worship God and to pray.
And so that's what we were doing up in the prayer mountain here in California. And the Lord spoke these words to us. He said, it's dangerous close to me. It's dangerous close. to Jesus, to God, it's dangerous. I mean, you see that when he was here, they, he was crucified because he his thoughts, a lot of his thoughts and his word is contrary to life systems that have been developed on earth, they're not originally what he intended.
And so correcting those things, correcting those. Errors, those fallacies sorry, if you heard a fan here, I'm, I want to get hot and is difficult. It's not always easy to follow God, to follow the Lord. And so that's why I just included that it's dangerous when you're close to me, when you're close to God.
And so that's just how it is, but it's the benefits. outweigh the danger totally. It is his protection. His holy angels are protecting us. He, there's so much protection in the board. And yes, and as I was mentioning last time, yes, of course, when there's war, people are going to die and also people are going to live.
And so that's just a part of life. And so as we Come into these times where there's war and there's famine and we're seeing all sorts of natural disasters and signs in the suns, moons, stars, the eclipses and things happening on the earth, then let's just stay close to God. Because the earth is dangerous anyway, it's better to be dangerous, close to God than dangerous, not close to God.
So I'd rather be in the dangerous way, close to God than, than by myself in a dangerous world. So today I wanted to talk a little bit more about the song a different version of the song that I wrote that I have here that I took out, I wanted to Another version before this final version was created, and this version, the reason I called the show Found My Faith, that, that was a line in the song, actually it was part of the chorus, so it went 48, 48, found my faith.
48 48 48 48 Found my fate. And it may not be exactly that tune because it's been a while since it was this version of the song. Found my fate, 48. And so I just wanted to share what I was thinking there. Found my fate. I was thinking about the. Children of Israel returning to their land and re discovering who they are as children of God.
I found my fate. I found my fate. You can even say I found my faith. Like, I grew stronger in God. And so, and then the song, the bridge of this version of the song had a had a term in there called Aliyah. Aliyah. And I went, Aliyah, and I just repeated that Aliyah, Aliyah, Aliyah, 48. 48, found my 48. 48. 48. And Aliyah is the return of.
The children of Israel to the land of Israel, and we have seen that happen since 1948 when Israel was reborn. And there's a scripture in the Bible I want to share with you that talks about this Aliyah, the return of the children of Israel to their land. And it's in the book of Jeremiah, chapter 30, verse three, and it reads, for behold, The days are coming, says the Lord, that I will bring back from captivity my people Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
Now, these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel. Judah. So the Lord says they're going to turn to their land and that's, we see that happening. And so this song was when I had the word Aliyah in there, Aliyah in the bridge as a tag I just was thinking an encouragement as The children of Israel make this trip, this move back to the Holy land.
So that is another version of, of the Psalm 48. There's many verses in the Bible that talk about the return of the children of Israel. Not just that one verse, there's. There's like a whole, I had like a whole page of scripture that had many verses on it. I don't have it with me right now. But I do have another verse that I could share and this is in the book of Ezekiel and it is chapter 11, verse 17.
Say, thus says the Lord God, I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
Okay. All right. And so the Lord has given them the land of Israel again, and now the children of Israel are going back to the Holy land. And so that's. It's an ongoing fight to keep that land because there are several people who, nations, peoples, who Want it. And so we're going to see it is written in the Bible that there's going to be war.
And so we're seeing this war. We're seeing war occur concerning the nation of Israel. So, we just want to keep the nation of Israel in our prayers and not just the nation of Israel, but we're. that are in war as well, because this is a dangerous, dangerous time in the world. So even though it's dangerous, close to God, it's better to be close to God than far away from God.
It's way better to be close to God than not. So I encourage you to get close to God. Read the Bible, because every word in this book, in the Bible, is going to come to pass. It is going to happen. It is true. And so, it's good for you to know what's written in the book. So you'll know what's happening in the world.
I've read this book many times all the way through. And several times, even many more times, not all the way through, concentrating on different chapters or verses or what have you. Since I started reading the Bible in 1998
for myself, I started reading the Bible in 1998, yes, it was. Oh my gosh, is that 30 years? Wait, how many years ago is that? 1998, 08, 18, Oh, no, no, no, that's like 23 years ago, 20, 25 years ago, 25 years ago, wow, 25 years ago, that's amazing, okay, so, wait, 25, no, no, no, 27 years ago. Wait, I can't think this is the 20, wait, this is 25, right?
2025 and then you add a couple of years. Yeah, that's 20, 27 years ago. Okay. I need someone to add that up for me. All right. So that is the show tonight. I just wanted to bring to you part two of my song, the 48, which is a love song for the children of Israel from God, his people. And I wanted to share how this song has changed over time when I first started writing this song three years ago.
And thank you for joining me. And I believe that the takeaway, if we want to build relationships that last and have love and peace Because there's not much peace in the world, so a way to have peace is by being close to God, by having the Lord in your heart. And there's a scripture that says I will keep him in perfect peace who keeps his mind stayed on me.
So that's, I believe in the book of Isaiah, I will keep him in perfect peace, perfect peace. Wow. In a world that's torn, in a world where there's all sorts of animosity and anger and mental illness and war, and he will keep you in perfect peace if your mind is stayed on him, on God. And once again, I'm going to tell you how to keep your mind stayed on God reading the Bible.
That's how your mind is going to stay on God, a hundred percent. So if you don't have a Bible, you should get one and you can read on your phone, but you know, you might want to have one physically too. So you can. Take a little more time with what you're reading. And anyway that's the show for tonight.
Remember to love God, love you and love people. Bye bye.
